Photographic Exhibition, Reflection and Talanoa Space.
Afterours was a cultural epicenter on Karangahape Road fostering collaboration and pressing to enrich community dialogues.
Centring Pasifika, Māori and diasporic creative communities, Afterhours provided crucial growth and development space for each person featured and celebrated in this exhibition.
Each depiction of the entities of Afterours honours the muka (fibres) of their experiences and offers gentle provocation for talanoa. We invite you to contemplate the pieces and come to one of two kōrero which will be facilitated to encourage reflection.
Through the process of talanoa consider the experience of community today, it's evolution, and the multiplicity of possibilities for the pathway before us.
